a cold winter
it's been so very wintery thru november and into december. Frost and snow, icicles and blue skies. The knives of ice forming on blades of grass near to Skiddaw mountain being the most extreme of the cold seen so far. Colder it will get i feel

first look at my new backyard:
the lake is derwent water, beyond keswick, a town about 15 mile south of me.
nearby is castlerigg stone circle, which is about 4000 yrs old
